330ml brown bottle. Pours out golden, hazy. Head is bright white, a bit creamy, nice rings of sticky lacing. Nose is sweet with honey and grain. Taste has grains, honey, a little sponge candy, light lemony note in the background. Finishes a bit drier, grainy with a trace of herbal hops. Medium body, decent lively carbonation. Pretty average.

Dec 9 CBAC. It’s only Christmas once a year so have an early beer today. Amber with a light head. Rough aroma, seems to have a lot of off notes, grain, alcohol and chemical. I beleive Honig is Honey. Knowing that I can place the honey taste and sweetness in the beer. The honey is needed cause the underlying beer is very rough and hard to drink. Seems to be a chemical off flavour that ruins the beer.

Poured out a lovely hazy light orangy gold with a soft white sticky head. Interesting aroma - mead like honey, feet, flour, light medicinal quality. The flavour is also interesting with some odd sweet / tart citrus push, herbal bite, sharp bite, honey, grain. I drank the whole thing but I’m not convinced why. At least it was interesting for a bit. The term ’World Series’ annoys me.

330ml bottle pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head that leaves only a few spots of lacing on the glass. Aroma is predominantly cereal grains with a hint of citrus. Taste is a bold grainy malty sweetness with a grassy hop bitterness. Light to medium body with decent carbonation. Not good and not recommended.

Yellow colour with tiny white head. Aroma is malt and a little honey. Flavour is malt, medium sweet and honey.

Bov (12636) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - FEB 16, 2012
courtesy of Markus Wernig - pours a slightly hazy blond beer with no head retention; aroma of plastic and honey; medium-bodied and fairly tasty; quite sweet, some shy tartness and residual sugars; herbal and honeyish aftertaste with unfortunately more hints of plastic
