Goldenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig süß, etwas Honig. Geschmack malzig, getreidig, leicht süß nach Honig. Bov (12636) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - FEB 16, 2012
courtesy of Markus Wernig - pours a slightly hazy blond beer with no head retention; aroma of plastic and honey; medium-bodied and fairly tasty; quite sweet, some shy tartness and residual sugars; herbal and honeyish aftertaste with unfortunately more hints of plastic kevnic2008 (11996) - Baden-Baden, GERMANY - AUG 10, 2012

Bottle, Dec 9th Beer Advent Calendar. I’m rating this one before the Dec 8th beer only because I have it in my hot little hand as I type. I will begin by saying this is the first truly awful beer of the batch. I will not be finishing it. Hazy orange-gold, robust white head that actually does retain as a thin layer for a long time. It is still there, and I poured this nearly three quarters of an hour ago. Aroma is sweet cereal, corn syrup, and faint soap. Flavour is very sweet cereal up front, with a metallic edge in the finish. The mid-palate is empty, like a cheap euro-lager or malt liquor. Presario is right-- there is an off-putting chemical taint to this, like you get in cheap fruit cocktail that is meant to seem "fresh" after sitting in a can on the shelf for 2 years. I don’t know how this beer gets its spice/herb/vegetable style designation (there are no english words on the label anywhere), but whatever was added to this beer failed utterly to make a drinkable beverage. Gerne wieder.

330ml bottle pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head that leaves only a few spots of lacing on the glass. Aroma is predominantly cereal grains with a hint of citrus. Taste is a bold grainy malty sweetness with a grassy hop bitterness. Light to medium body with decent carbonation. Not good and not recommended. Dec 9 CBAC. It’s only Christmas once a year so have an early beer today. Amber with a light head. Rough aroma, seems to have a lot of off notes, grain, alcohol and chemical. I beleive Honig is Honey. Knowing that I can place the honey taste and sweetness in the beer. The honey is needed cause the underlying beer is very rough and hard to drink. Seems to be a chemical off flavour that ruins the beer. SinH4 (4759) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - MAR 18, 2016
Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is grainy, honey. Taste is honey and a grainy malt base. Medium carbonation. Alright, but I’ve had better honey beers. pintbypint (3630) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 9, 2012
330ml brown bottle. Pours out golden, hazy. Head is bright white, a bit creamy, nice rings of sticky lacing. Nose is sweet with honey and grain. Taste has grains, honey, a little sponge candy, light lemony note in the background. Finishes a bit drier, grainy with a trace of herbal hops. Medium body, decent lively carbonation. Pretty average.
