Murky dark orange-brown body, thin off-white head. The aroma is more or less a chocolate donut, sweet and doughy. Rich chocolate-laden body. A tootsie roll in a glass. That said, am I rating effective use of chocolate, or the beer? This is not exactly a beer "balanced" by chocolate; it is chocolate.

UPDATED: MAY 11, 2008 This is a miller? Extreme chocolate aroma and taste... like hershys syrup.. Chocolate is taken literal with this beer. Yummy yummy beer.. keep it away from the kids. Great fizzy medium body. Chocolate phosphate for sure!

Pours deep brown, head quickly dissipates, aroma is pleasant milk chocolate. Flavor is sweet and dominated by milk chocolate, like Hershey’s syrup. Maybe a hint of coffee. Mild bitterness, finishes very smooth. I found this to be enjoyable

This bottled brew from a bottle shop marked 04027 012059 poured a large sized head of foamy finely sized tan colored bubbles that were and left behind a transparent dark red brown colored body. The mild aroma was dark chocolate. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish. The strong flavor contained notes of sweet dark malt and chocolate. A decent one that I would consider buying again. Actually quite good once you get used to the choclate flavor.

This has a wonderfully strong aroma and flavorful first taste but after the first half bottle I was unable to finish due to the overpowering chocolate finish.

Poured from a 12oz bottle, color is black in appearance until held up to a light. Then you see the browns and ruby colors coming through. Nose is chocolate explosion. You can literally smell this stuff from across the room. If the aromas hadn’t opened up and mellowed out like they did(fig/almond/caramel), I would have scored much lower. Lighter in body than I expected, very smooth on the palate with a crisp finish. Sweet, but not overwhelming.

Smells like chocolate cake. Foamy chocolate head, with dark amber body. Taste has a lot of coffee flavor. Lasting cocoa finish. Not bad.

More like Frederick miller "Snickers" Lager. A surprisingly good beer from such a broad distributor. Great after a meal. Much more than a traditional Chocolate Lager or stout. It actually tastes like they almost melted a chocolate bar into every bottle.

Black color with orange transmittance. Malt and cocoa scent. Tried one that was a little warmer than I wanted and I think it made the head rise more than normal. about 2 inches. No bubbles were rising visibly. Chocolate and malt taste. Medium mouthfee with slightly slick palate. Thought the 1st was terrible, but the 2nd it was quite good, my palate adjusted. good enough to get a nice little buzz going...

I read a news report in the Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel about this brew. Okay, I’m game. It appears to have dark brown color and small tan head that disappeared too quickly. The aroma has chocolate with a hint of amaretto. Taste? It was like having Miller High Life with some Hershey’s chocolate syrup added. A little grainy with some herbal aftertaste. Glad to have tried this once.
