0.5 l bottle, vintage 2008, 5.7 %, thanks Timo A and Hannu N! Hazy mahagony color with thick creamy head. Sweet caramelly and berryish aroma with flowery hops. Sweet caramelly, nutty and berryish flavor with medium bitterness, honey, toffee, licorice, orange, hints of raisins and hints of flowery hops. Too caramelly for me. It is mahogany-red with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel, fruity hops, citrus and a little raisin. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of roasted malt, caramel, fruit, different citrus fruits, light raisin, a nice bitterness and a nice caramel foundation. It is an interesting and nice mix of hoppy fruitiness and more traditional, malty sweet Christmas beer. Ungstrup (38384) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - DEC 7, 2008

Bottle, thx to thewolf. Copper-colored, unclear beer with a beige head leaving lacings. Lovely aroma of American hops with pinecones, citrus and grapefruit, as well as a malty sweetness. Nice sweet and malty flavor with caramel and loads of piney and citrusy hops. Quite low on bitterness. Medium body. A bit thin and sure not a Christmas beer in my book, but besides that, it’s a great beer. (080301) Storm (2684) - Amager, DENMARK - MAR 22, 2008
