(on bottle, thanx to thewolf) Dark colored, beige head. Fruity, minty and a hardpowered maltaroma. There´s an estery and hoppy feel to this, as in US strong ales, even though UK types are used. Even though it has a dark and malted profile, the hops are floating above it all, givin great balance. Warmth up and gets quite peppery in the end. Very nice beer indeed. faroeviking (11109) - Chupando chellas es como ellas, FAROE ISLANDS - MAR 2, 2008
Bottle. Cloudy orange-brown colour. Fruity, pine hoppy aroma. Nice mouthfeel. The flavour has a very soft pine fruity hoppy spiced flavour. Great brew! thewolf (12746) - Kolding, DENMARK - FEB 25, 2008

[thank you, Myrup]
Pours a light muddy red with a great creamy yellowish head - with super lacing. Aroma is very nicely hoppy, grapefruit and a background of sweet caramel. Super-dry mouthfeel. Flavour i nicely hoppy and includes some spices amongst roasted and caramel maltiness. Super surprise!
[Courtesy of Myrup, session @ yespr] Brown with tiny off white head. Sweet aroma with loads of hops, grapefruit and caramel notes. Sweet flavor with roasted malt, hops and caramel. Papsoe (25059) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JAN 9, 2008
(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Myrup. Hazy, dark brown, muddy and opaque with a huge sediment and a creamy, beige head. Fresh, citrusy aroma hops in the nose. Medium body with lightly sweet caramel accents and then this distinct citrusy hoppiness that also leaves a dose of bitterness. If it wasn’t bottom fermented I would’ve considered this an APA. Not bad at all, and a very unusual choice for a Christmas beer. 281207

Bottled. Murky amber coloured. Light brown head. Citrus, flowers, herb s and ligth caramel in the aroma. Flavour as well has the same notes. Is somewhat citric as well. Medium bodied. dry. Sharply bitter in the end, which unfortunately makes it a bit unbalanced. joergen (28949) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - DEC 31, 2007
Hazy orange red coloured with an off white ehad.
Aroma of malts, caramel, hops and pine needles.
Flavour of hops, fruits and pine needles.
Very hoppy for a christmas beer. Emil (6064) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 29, 2007
Bottle. A dark red brown beer with a big beige head. Dusty caramel malt, heavy hopped, pine, peach aroma and taste. Medium body with a dry finish. Even though it´s not realy a X-mas beer but more like a IPA, I´ll drink this for X-mas anytime. yespr (47039) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - DEC 29, 2007
50 cL bottle, thanks to Myrup. Pours hazy brown with a dense light brown head. Slight soapy fruity/floral hoppy aroma. Flavour is dry hoppy with a fruity note and a sligt soapy note towards the finish. Mellow bitter finish of a quite fruity hops note and little bitterness. Slight liqourice edge in the far finish. Unusual hoppy Christmas brew, I wonder if this was intended as an X-mas brew initially...
