Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft.
50 cL bottle, thanks to Myrup. Pours hazy brown with a dense light brown head. Slight soapy fruity/floral hoppy aroma. Flavour is dry hoppy with a fruity note and a sligt soapy note towards the finish. Mellow bitter finish of a quite fruity hops note and little bitterness. Slight liqourice edge in the far finish. Unusual hoppy Christmas brew, I wonder if this was intended as an X-mas brew initially... Ungstrup (37556) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - DEC 7, 2008

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Myrup. Hazy, dark brown, muddy and opaque with a huge sediment and a creamy, beige head. Fresh, citrusy aroma hops in the nose. Medium body with lightly sweet caramel accents and then this distinct citrusy hoppiness that also leaves a dose of bitterness. If it wasn’t bottom fermented I would’ve considered this an APA. Not bad at all, and a very unusual choice for a Christmas beer. 281207 saxo (18297) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - FEB 5, 2009

Deep ruby, a bit murky, off-white head. Woody, American hoppy, a bit sweet nose. Caramelly, Amarillo hoppy flavor, quite mellow mouthfeel, aged quite nicely. Balanced. Not very Christmasy.
Bottle, thx to thewolf. Copper-colored, unclear beer with a beige head leaving lacings. Lovely aroma of American hops with pinecones, citrus and grapefruit, as well as a malty sweetness. Nice sweet and malty flavor with caramel and loads of piney and citrusy hops. Quite low on bitterness. Medium body. A bit thin and sure not a Christmas beer in my book, but besides that, it’s a great beer. (080301) Dedollewaitor (16152) - Odense, DENMARK - FEB 25, 2012
