Bottiglia.

Ragnampiza (751) - Rome / Lecce, ITALY - JUN 12, 2015
200 ml on tap at Luppolo Station. Dark amber, pretty hazy, with a nice, fluffy and persistent off white head. On the nose mild earthy and grassy hop notes, quite a bit of caramel malts, subtle forest/wild type of fruits (ribes, blackberry) reminiscence, a hint of mint bubblegum as well. High bitterness upfront, slightly fizzy and very dry without being watery. Herbal astringency with toffee and mature peaches notes in the aftertaste. Average to lively carbonation, medium body, slightly oily texture. Nice.

On tap at King Grizzly, Firenze. Slightly hazy deep amber to copper coloured with a tanned head. Hoppy aroma with notes of citrus, malt, caramel and tropical fruits. Medium sweet with nice hoppy and fruity flavours against a solid malty background. Certainly a decent English IPA.
