on tap at brewpub-pours orange with a small soapy eggshell hue head with awesome lacing. nose is floral hops all the way-with lite earthy tones. flavors are grapefruit lite dusty malt notes and a touch and i mean a touch of diacytl. some toasted malt shows up in the mid palate followed by a litely piney grapefruit finish which makes this pretty dry. a very nice sessionable beer with quite a bit of character. 10 oz. draft at the brew pub in Lawrence, Kansas. Pour is a slightly hazed copper reddish, with a small off white head. Aroma is bright resin floral hops, along with nice toasted malt. Taste is the nose, with bright fresh resin hop, the toasted malt, and a decent amount of crystal malt as well. Palate is light to medium body, simple and tasty. Shaker at the brewpub. Pours a pale copper with a thin beige head and spotty lace. The nose is of simcoe and amarillo hops over a slightly sweet, biscuity malt. Fairly light-bodied and grainy with a drying bitter finish. The flavor is an Americanized hop-forward rendition of the style; follows the nose. Nicely dry and moderately bitter, I could session this all night.
