On draft at the brewpub. Lightly sweet, caramel malt aroma, some faint honey and toasted grain notes, faint touch of apple-like fruit as well. Clear medium copper color with a sparse, lasting, fine head. Flavor is pleasantly malty, more caramel and faint toast, more honey as well and a light degree of bitterness at the finish. Easy-going, tasty. RobertDale (6976) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - APR 21, 2013
On tap at the brewpub. Comes reddish brown with a nice light biege head. Aroma of malt, caramel, and a bit of hops. Taste is similar. A simple well made beer. beastiefan2k (4179) - HdG (past: NYC, KS, Rain City), Maryland, USA - APR 11, 2013
Sample (5oz) at the brewpub. Clear copper/brown beer. A very clean lager, almost too clean. Missing the advertised "breadiness." I like me a good Vienna but here I felt I was missing anything more than what comes out of a boring bock. TomDecapolis (4636) - Milton, Delaware, USA - APR 5, 2013
Pours a translucent deep amber with a medium creamy off white head. Aroma of pretzels, toasted malt, and light spicy hops. Flavor of toasted malt, spicy hops, caramel and nuts. jcnielsen (3416) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - NOV 23, 2012
On tap at Free State. Pours an amber brown color with white head. Biscuit, malty, caramel, bready flavors. Interesting beer.
