Not really a C4, but this one is pretty good too. Very piney, with a some roasted characteristics as well.

Draft, at the brewpub. Dark, roasty/toasty malt aroma with hints of chocolate, piney, earthy hops, underlying dark sweetness and perhaps some dark fruitiness as well, far in the background. Quite intriguing. Clear, dark brown color, with a very fine, subsiding, light tan head and intricate lacing. Flavor profile is very nicely balanced with darkly sweet, chocolate and roasted malts, dark brown sugar/toffee, earthy, piney hop flavors, moderately strong bitterness and some ale-like fruitiness courtesy of the yeast, finishing with touches of spruce and berry. Smooth and creamy on the palate, body is medium-full. Complex and very nice, one of the best examples of the style I have tried thus far. I absolutely had to get a growler of this stuff.

On tap at the brewpub. Comes dark brown with a decent biege head. Aroma of malt, caramel, pine, and florals. Taste is grapefruit, pine, florals, caramel, and malt. Nice stuff.

Pours a deep brown with amber notes and a medium creamy off white head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, nuts and floral hops. Flavor of caramel, honey roasted nuts. Pine and grapefruit.

10oz draft at the brewpub. Pours with a pretty tight head that leaves a very sticky lacing. Appearance is very dark brown, looks almost black. Aroma is roast heavy with lots of pine hops. A weird caramel coming off it as well, not sure about that aspect. Flavor is all hops at the start with a bitter malt and hop finish.
