I was a fan of this beer from the start. The copper color, sort of surprising compared to many of the darker amber ryes out there was inviting. Decent head, medium body, with a citrus bite and a spicy, peppery foundation. Nice.

(tap at brewpub) copper with small off white head. Aroma of earthy hops and some malt. Flavor is decent malt backbone with pine/herbal hops and some spice from the rye.
