Draft from squealer. Aroma of fruity, citric hops and lightly toasty, pale malt sweetness with notes of grapefruit, tangerine, herbal spice and pepper. Mostly clear light-medium copper in color with a fine, lasting, off-white head and lacing to match. Flavor profile is sweeter and maltier up front, followed by a moderate dosage of hop bitterness and finishing with a burst of tropical fruit hop character and spice, the lingering hop oils resinous and drying. Smooth and moderate to low in effervescence on the palate, body is medium-full. Very drinkable and tasty, overall. ads135 (4923) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - MAR 22, 2014
A really nice, light IPA. Some pretty strong bitterness and abundant citrus flavor. jcnielsen (3416) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JUN 13, 2013

10oz pour at the brewpub. Pours a translucent copper orange amber color with a strong head. The beer is basically fruit hop, not super strong, some citric and tea hop flavors. Tea is stronger in the flavor. Some lightly toasted but felt maltiness. Fun beer. TomDecapolis (4618) - Milton, Delaware, USA - MAY 31, 2013
Pours a translucent orange amber with a medium creamy off white lacing head. Aroma of orange, pine, caramel, nuts and light floral hop notes. Flavor of pine needles, grapefruit, toasted and light caramel malt. phaleslu (10553) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 6, 2012
Draft in a sampler at the brewpub. Pours a semi-cloudy amber color with a finger of off-white head that stays for a while. The aroma has notes of tropical and citrus fruits, piney hops, sweet malts, and straw. The flavor has a lot of tropical and citrus fruits as well, with pine resin, caramel and pale malts, and grass. Light-medium bodied, with a juicy mouthfeel that has a nice complement of bitterness and malt throughout. Nice IPA, the best I had at Free State. csbosox (1229) - Prairie Village, Kansas, USA - AUG 2, 2012
Draft. Candy, citrus, a bit earthy. Toffee & medium caramel balance out the somewhat dank, fermented citrus and resinous hop character. Well attenuated and easy to drink. berrya785 (441) - Kansas, USA - JUL 25, 2012
On tap at Free State Brewery on 7/20/2012. Pours a goldish orange with a nice white head. Aroma is floral and pine. Taste is a nice balance between hoppy bitterness and malty sweetness.
