Pours a clear copper on the deeper end of the spectrum with a finger-plus of off-white head that laces the glass and settles unevenly. Aroma of caramel, pils, and amber malts, dry leaves, earth, dried fruits, and nuts. Flavor of mixed fruits, caramel, leaves, toast, nuts, mild spice, and some faint toasted sugary sweetness. Pours reddish copper, fairly clear and with a modest beige head. The aroma has dryish oktoberfest malt, red berries, crackers and bits of caramel. It has a medium husky body with mild sharp carbonation. The flavor starts with dry caramel, toastiness, bread and lager yeast smoothness. The finish has graham cracker, caramel and rich malt. Nice marzen.
