A medium orange body with virtually no head. Aroma is hoppy, almost, piney, taste is pretty much the same. Finishes dry with a lingering bitter bite. Finhead (1762) - OFallon, Illinois, USA - JAN 9, 2015
A hazy, orange-brown color with an off-white head. The aroma has a strong citrus with notes of orange rind and grapefruit. It has a medium body with slightly oily texture and lively carbonation. The taste is moderately bitter that continues to bite long into the finish. GJF (1520) - Mount Vernon, Iowa, USA - DEC 26, 2014
Bottle on Christmas day. A nice surprise. Good, citrus-dominant IPA. Nothing out of the ordinary, but well done. joshmcg000 (388) - Iowa, USA - NOV 30, 2014
Pours clear copper with active carbonation, off white head. Aroma is strange, never smelled a beer like it, maybe the yeast? it has a bit of citrus, maybe a little coriander, and alot of spiciness to it. I don’t really know how its at all a IPA but it is interesting and pretty good. elninoict (7) - Wichita, Kansas, USA - NOV 30, 2014 does not count
Light copper pour. Nice head. Light lace. Citrus aroma with a hint of yeast. The description is spot on. This beer tastes lightly of grapefruit and sunshine.

Description is pretty spot on but color is a brilliantly clear light copper. Aroma is a clean citrus with slight tropical as described, some resiney hops. Orange notes. Nice strong fresh hop. Taste is hoppy with a fairly strong bitter, piney grapefruit like. Caramel malts-medium, fairly dry finish, light medium sweetness. Good hop aroma flavor and bitter for an ipa. Taste has a tad bit of old off-yeastyness to it however. Overall a pretty good standard ipa but not near a favorate. fidelis83 (2441) - Clinton, Iowa, USA - NOV 20, 2014
Clear old copper pour with a 2 finger creamy off white head. Aroma is loaded with sweet citrus and mango and passion fruit forward tropical fruit, floral and light toasty malt. Flavor is lightly sweet caramel and biscuit up front, sweet fruity esters, some citrus, tea like, earthy and light tropical fruit hops, kinda plain compared to the aroma. Light to medium body, neutral to slightly syrupy, but dry feel and light, but blanketing and somewhat sharp carbonation. Good stuff overall, but it’s one of those IPAs that smell really good at first, then are a little disappointing at first sip, then the best parts of the aroma seem to fade away as well leaving a good beer that is still somewhat disappointing. Sorta flash in the pan scenario. razzanof (72) - Leavenworth, Kansas, USA - NOV 14, 2014
From a bottle poured into a pilsner glass. An aroma of pine leads to an interesting taste of pine and citrus with a strong coppery backbone that resonates on the palate. An interesting winter IPA... wlajwl (6812) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - NOV 12, 2014
Aroma is pine, grapefruit and fresh yeast. The flavor is grapefruit, spruce, malts, citrus, mild fruit, not much sweetness and a rather dry/medium bitter finish. Bif (2245) - St. Charles, Missouri, USA - MAY 10, 2014
Pours a deep golden color with a good head that lasts with ample lacing. Aroma of citrus, some pine with malt sweetness and touch of spice. Taste of citrus, malt, caramel sweetness with bit of spice and grain. Nice bitterness just a bit of lingering pine aftertaste. Medium body, crisp, clean and refreshing. Nicely balanced. Verry enjoyable beer worth checking out.
