Bottle to nonic pint glass, the appearance was a semi-dark brown close to black color with a thin finger’s worth of white to off white foamy head that fell off at a decent pace. Not much lace.
The aroma had some sweet milk chocolate, sly roastiness, light coffee bean, some caramel malts, light vanilla, and a touch of wood.
The flavor was moderately sweet with the roast accompanying it somewhat nicely. Aftertaste was the same along with the finish.
The palate was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine. Nice balance of smooth to roasty grip along my tongue.
Overall, pretty good porter I could do again. katrinaez (2021) - norristown, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 13, 2016
Good but not great offering. Pours very dark, with coffee notes. Smooth to the point of being a little watery. Drinkable. Tap. EvanFriend (595) - Pennsylvania, USA - APR 9, 2015
Coffee, wood, and kind of a weird chemical aftertaste. Tastes almost like it’s synthetic or something. Not particularly good. alobar (3793) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 20, 2015
Pours cola brown with aroma of roasted malt, tobacco, and coffee. Bitter coffee and roasted malt flavor with some tobacco and chocolate. Decent porter. egg (391) - USA - MAR 17, 2015
On tap 3/17/15. Pours pitch black with minimal tan head. Nose is faint. Coffee maybe. Taste is much more present. Coffee, chocolate, burnt, some metal sourness, pretty tasty.

12 oz bottle into a pint glass.
Pours dark and rich looking; opaque; decent head with ample sticky lacing.
Flavor: rich, bold, dark-roasted grains with an overall slightly bitter balance. Hints of dark chocolate and coffee. Some char in finish and aftertaste.
Medium yet watery body with low carbonation.

Bottle. Pours a very dark brown body with a small fizzy light brown head. The nose is very thick, lots of chocolate and roasted malt with lighter notes of hops and licorice. The flavor is equally thick, a little too heavy on the roasted malt for my tastes in a Porter. It’s fairly burnt tasting with a tobacco and licorice undertone. Some lightly citrusy hops on the finish. Medium bodied and a bit chewy with soft fizzy carbonation. Meh, not a Porter for me. voyageurmike (437) - Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 15, 2015
On tap at brewery. Dark opaque brown, bittersweet chocolate coffee taste. Medium-bodied and mildly bitter finish. Pleasant but unremarkable. Leafs93 (2305) - Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 7, 2015
Pours black with a tan head. Aroma is coffee, roast, earthy and dark chocolate. Taste is bittersweet with a tart/acidic finish. Solid. N3lson1 (1005) - Long Valley, New Jersey, USA - DEC 12, 2014
Drank from a twelve ounce bottle. Aroma of dark malts. Taste of dark malts, pretty watered down taste. I expected more from this brew.
