On tap at Capones, pour is copper orange. Crazy lacing. Aromas of toasted malt, restrained citra hops, caramel, melon, smokey rye. A little grainy and ashy on the tongue. Needs more flavor and a better body in my opinion.

Draught at Whole Foods Devon: Aroma of citra hops, caramel malt, and citrus. Poured amber/gold/apple juice in color with a small, creamy, dense, white/off-white head that lasted throughout. Hazy. Sparkling. Good lacing. Flavor is light to medium sweet and light to medium bitter. Tastes of malt, hops, citrus, grains, and some bread. Medium body. Dry texture. Average carbonation. Caramel malt, hops, citra, citrus finish is dry.

Draft at Blue Dog. Poured a fuller bodied dark gold with a foamy bright white head. Aroma of pennies, grainy bread, light lemon zest and hops. Body is fuller with average carbonation that leads to a full creamy body that finishes dry with light bitterness. Flavor of grainy bread, dry hops, and dry citrus rinds. This is an okay beer that isn’t that memorable.

DocLock (11110) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 21, 2012
Tap at Capone’s and Craft. Pours hazy deep canary-like gold; nothing on the brown side of the color palette here, with 1-finger fluffy white head. Nose is huge tropical fruit, sticky resiny Citra hops. Damn, I love this hop. The taste is crisp, with the big Citra hit up front, some mid floral, tropical fruit, and peppery spice, and a smooth finish. Very nice.

On tap at Blue Dog. Pours a golden orange color with no head. Aroma of citrus, floral hops, and grain. Tastes much the same with toasted malts at near the back end. Decent beer.

UPDATED: APR 29, 2013 Pours a clear golden color with a medium white head...nice lacing! Aroma is sweet with an odd vanilla note. Flavor is lightly herbal with some biscuity maltiness, a hint of sweet vanilla, and decent bitterness. Mouthfeel is light and the finish is dry and earthy/bitter.
