Had on old rating system. Don’t remember it exactly. I know the palate was good for the style, the color was a little pale, but the taste was nice...a little light.

Ok, this is not a sour. Its more like a sweet something from the start. Fairly clear. Smell is almost alarmiongly sweet. Sweetness continuews over to the taste. could use some manners fer sure. For the name, was expecting a more sour or tart beer but I guess it was sour mash, that’s what needs to be said here. Mouth coating. Somewhat cloying at times.

can8ianben (1556) - State College, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 2, 2014
Hazy sour with a very drinkable fruit-forward flavor profile. This is a starter sour beer - something to introduce the style - but far from the most potent.

A: Hazy Golden Straw Hue, Passes Some Light, Thin White Head Ring, Mild Lacing S: Mild Lemons, Mild Hay, Mild Yeast, Mildly Grassy T: Hay, Mild Yeast, Mild Lemons; Mild White Grape M: Mediocre Carbonation, Light to Medium Bodied, Mildly Yeasty Overall, I give them credit for trying to combine a sour and a saison but you got a lot more mild saison and very little sour character...its too bad it didnt lean one way or the other.

egajdzis (6613) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 16, 2013
Hazy golden color with a white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of hay, light honey, grass, and green apple.taste of citrus, earth, hay, green apple, and light vinegar.

3.1
Funknmilla (746) - WAYNE, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 9, 2013
Draft July 2012...cloudy off white head...a little lacing, looks promising....sour combined with wheat...light and tangy with a zesty citrus aroma, would do well with a fresh strawberry

DeputyAndy (636) - Ambler, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 10, 2012
Draft at Capone’s. Clear red pour with no head. Subdued aroma is amvery wineish. Taste is heavily influenced by oak and grape skins. Tastes like a cabarnet. No sour at all. Oak is almost wrecking the grape flavors.

2.4
callmemickey (4549) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 28, 2012
Hazy pale golden-yellow body, slight white head, not much staying power. Nose is apple cider vinegar, lemon, and must. Not particularly pleasant. Flavor carries over and is quite difficult to work through. Medium bodied, appropriate carbonation, unsettling acidity, muddled finish.

3.3
tcane7 (1674) - Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 28, 2012
Draft at Standard Tap. Pours golden with white head and lacing. Nose of honey, straw. Slightly tart, sweet hay, some yeast spice ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

2.9
DocLock (10721) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 25, 2012
Draft at Capone’s. Pours translucent gold with a finger of white lingering head. Nose is fruity malt, mild acidity and hops. Tastes of fruity pale malt, with mild tartness and some wheat and lemongrass in the finish.
