2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: OCT 12, 2014 Impulse buy from Walgreens, tall can poured into pint glass. Clear amber’ish golden-pale color with white head. Aroma of sweet pale malt and very slight fruity note. Taste is kind of doughy, corny and some grain. Light body, heavy carbonation, sweet with a dry finish. Not really remarkable for my first cream ale, guess I can only go up from here!
Can @ home. Scored this @ the 99 cent store. Clear golden straw color with a white head. Smells like white grape, skunk, and cooked grains. Sugary and slightly vegetal. Flavor is super sugary and gross. A lot of cooked corn and cereal grains. Wat. Not sure what I really expected. obguthr (6303) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - JAN 4, 2015
Corn nose. Clear amber, thick lacy head. Corn and fusel alcohol, moderate strength. Medium body. Full flavored, but not very good tasting. JeffIPA28 (13) - - OCT 18, 2014
Can from Walgreens. Not a good beer. Bitter and sweet at same time. Very malty tasting and strong palate. Rough.

In the can provided by Homer321. Thanks ! Pours a clear golden appearance with a thin off white head. Definitely a bunch of corn and grape drank in the nose plus some woody / herbal notes. High sweetness. Low bitterness. High carbonation. Massive corn candy / cotton candy flavor. Decent body but really fucken sweet. Headbanger (3992) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - MAR 29, 2014
16oz can 3/29/14 (Walgreens-FLA)-Pours a clear medium golden with a small white head. Aroma of grains, malt, and caramel. Taste of the same with a caramel and slight metallic finish. This light to medium bodied brew is an ok brew.

Can from the pharmacy. tall boy to snifter. pours a light red with a white head that dies quickly. nose is slightly sweet with some caramel and toffee. taste is slightly messy. initially a tad bit bitter but then this stickening sweetness takes over. there is definitely an off flavor slightly vegetal or something. This isn’t good. Buy Big Flats instead. CanIHave4Beers (4184) - Pouring Bus, Iowa, USA - MAR 19, 2014

Pours a pale golden color with a small head that is fairly well retained.
The aroma is cooked vegetable & some alcohol. There is nothing inherently "stinky" about it, but I find it generally unpleasant to smell.
The flavor is boozy, it’s got some weird almost grapey fruitiness. It’s got plenty of creamed corn sweetness. It’s got some zippy hops.
I don’t know, it’s just really unpleasant all around.
I used to drink Genny cream ale when I lived in NY. Can’t get it in Fl. When I saw this at Walgreens I noticed it was brewed in Rochester, NY so I knew it was a Genny product and when I saw it was an ale I was hoping it was a different name for the cream ale. WELL, IT IS. It is a close variation of Genny Cream Ale. I like it. I will buy more. wxman (1814) - O’Fallon, Illinois, USA - JUL 22, 2013
Pours a bright golden with a medium white head that reduces fairly quickly. Aroma is corn grits and a bit of hop spice. Taste is sweet pale malt, corn and some grassy notes. Somewhat metallic. OK, for mass produced swill. drowland (8629) - Georgia, USA - JUL 16, 2013
6/12/13. SCORE! Random tick from Walgreens - gotta love it! And always happy to help charity. Pale golden pour, basically no off-white head. Apples, hay, bread, cardboard, and flowers on the aroma. The flavor is much the same with a metallic kick. Mehhhhh.
