edsspoon (905) - Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - SEP 19, 2014
Bottle - pours deep red with a fluffy light brown head which soon fades to a ring. aroma of roasted malt and coffee with some hints of soy sauce and cocoa. Taste is, similarly, roasted malt and coffee with a little sweetness and smokiness. Medium body, high carbonation. Pretty much what you’d expect from a stout - nothing exceptional.

BlackHaddock (7574) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - SEP 14, 2014
Bottle, 330ml from a new place in between the Market Porter and Wheatsheaf next to Borough Market on 11th Sep 2014, sat outside with a barrow for our table. Black colour, or very close to black, small tanned brown head. The aroma was semi-sweet malty, caramel, light toast and chocolate biscuit hints. Flavour is fruity with those same malt feel as the smell. I thought the body a little thin for a ’good Stout’ although every thing else seemed fine.

CacheManyHose (757) - HONG KONG - JUL 17, 2014
Bottle. Smells sour/acidic - more soy sauce than raisin - along with crisp malt and some musty grassiness. Tastes of dark malt but sweet and not too roasted, more bitterness than in the aroma, bit of soy sauce and smoke/ash. Body is medium and slick with fine carbonation. Taste is a little on the thin side and doesn't last long - more like a bitter Belgian dark ale or a spicy German dunkel than a porter.

joergen (28949) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 13, 2014
