>> Thanks DTF and DK for the share. Sparking deep golden pour, weak foam, from a growler though Nose is celery, malt extract. Taste is malt extract, celery, green apples. Huh.
Pours a hazy golden color with a thick/medium white head that left a lot of lacing around the glass. The aroma is pine, floral hops, earthy, some citrus, and grapefruit. The flavor is very similar to the aroma. In the taste i do pick up sweet malts and caramel with a moderate hop kick as well. Bill Becker (1371) - Casper, Wyoming, USA - AUG 28, 2014
This pours a cloudy(bottle conditioned/unfiltered) straw gold, 1 finger head of foam.
The smell is weak. I get a bit of lemon zest and a bit of grass.
The taste is of lemon zest, a weak malt backbone, a bitterish finish that isn’t all that pleasing.
The first bottle I tried, I liked it more than the 2 I’ve had since. Bottle variation? Maybe. Or, I’m getting more used to the flavours presented in the beer and I’m realizing the beer isn’t pleasing my palate as much as I thought it did.
For 7.0% abv it, despite my negative comments, is pretty easy drinking but I wouldn’t spend another +$9 for a six pack.

On draft at the brewery.
The beer is light golden with a mild haze and a small, wispy head. The aroma offers some assorted citrus hops, malt. Hop forward, though there is a prominent bready character throughout. Bitter finish. Middle of the road... Bulk_Carrier (6065) - Vermont, USA - JUN 25, 2014
Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a nice looking hazy orange to amber color. There was some light lacing trickling into the beer. There was a half finger white foamy head.
The smell had some sharp pine with a little bit of tobacco.
The taste had a nice bittersweet blend and brought back the tobacco to intertwine with the flavor.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionable aspect running in and out coating my tongue.
Overall, this was a pretty good AIPA worthy of having again. Ferris (16304) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 23, 2014
Draft - Sweet grapefruit and light malt. Cloudy gold with a thin white head. Bright grapefruit and a dry resinous finish. Decent. ajnepple (6995) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAY 23, 2014
