650ml bottle. Bottle # 381/400 Pours a dark black with a reddish-brown hue and a two inch tan head that slowly collapses. Taste is of roasted malt, smoke, coffee, toffee, wood, vanilla, cocoa, chocolate and caramel. Similar aroma. Has a full body with a dry and bitter finish. Easy to drink, enjoyable and quite pleasant. 22oz bottle picked up at the brewery (2013 261/400) Bill Becker (1015) - Casper, Wyoming, USA - JUN 11, 2013
Pours dark brown with a big tan head and some lacing. Aroma of roasted malts, dried cocoa, whiskey, vanilla and woody. Flavors of roasted malts, chocolate, roast coffee, vanilla with some bitterness in the finish
A nice smooth Imp Stout.
2013 edition, bottle number 336 of 400, $16.19, 22oz, black wax.
A- it pours black with a 1 finger head of tannish foam, good lacing.
A- very roasty, notes of chocolate, vanilla, some booze from the Whiskey barreling.
T- itís very hot. I get a ton of roasted malt, bitter chocolate, vanilla in the background, light notes of Whiskey.
P- on the light side of medium bodied, lightish carbonation, not the greatest mouthfeel.
O- like I said, very hot and not all that good tasting. I wonder what some cellaring would do but the carbo is already light. I canít give it a hearty recommendation.

Bottle split with DiarmaidBHK - pours pitch with a finger of khaki foam, nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is malty with some chocolate bourbon goodness. Taste is bittersweet with slightly bitter/dry finish. Solid effort. DiarmaidBHK (4797) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 16, 2013
Bottle from brewpub. Pours dark brown with an inch of khaki foam. Bits of malt on the nose. Lots of roasted malt and a hint of bourbon on the tongue. Finishes clean. Not bad.

This beer was really good it was smooth and had a real nice creamy head. Freedoms edge is getting better and better with their beers.
