Dry cocoa and milky aroma and taste. Love the aroma. Mild and smooth beer. Good stuff. Had this on tap as part of a flight at Craftsmen in Charleston. nimbleprop (8595) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - FEB 28, 2015
8oz pour at Craftsman pours a watery brown with a ring of off white head. Nose has roasted notes, toast, mild smoke, some licorice. Flavor has some of the minerality I expected, malty, toast, heavy bread crust. Clean finish unclemattie (4357) - Georgia, USA - MAR 25, 2014
Tap @ Freehouse. Dark pour. Aroma of sea salt air, roasted burnt grains, sandy beach, and hints of barnyard. Sessionable. Chalky finish. (4010) woodychevy (874) - - FEB 2, 2014
A pretty decent stout. One of the better ones- the Belgian flavors not coming through. Pours dark-thin head. Decent stout flavors and the Oyster/ brackish is subtle and nice. Balanced finish. Bit of a thin mouthfeel but could argue that is a warm climate stout.
