Cloudy amber brew with small fast fading head. Too sweet, almost non-existent hops. Not sure if this was canned before the yeast could finish the job but it looks and tastes like an unfinished ferment. BeerRenter76 (1015) - Texas, USA - JAN 10, 2016
Hazy, sediment filled amber colored body with a frothy off white cap, that is leaving some decent lacing. Some sweet caramel in the aroma with a very faint hint of orange hops. Flavor is geared towards the malts but a little hop bitterness comes out in the dry finish. Overall, not too shabby. dfinney23 (3269) - Houston, Texas, USA - NOV 9, 2015
Suitably amber pour with thin beige foam. Caramel malt with light roast and pine highlights. Nice enough for an amber. degbert (1773) - Austin, Texas, USA - SEP 1, 2015
Can. Pours a deep amber with a shallow, thin, fine-grained cream-colored head. Nose is stone fruit, spice, white pepper, caramel, and grapefruit. Some toffee and peach sweetness up front, then shifts into a peppery grapefruit and herbs bitterness on the midpalate. Nice prickly carbonation on the tongue, with good dryness. The finish is long, dry, with just a touch of citrus malt. Quite a nice amber ale. I could drink a lot of these. PorterPounder (7968) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JUN 3, 2015
San Antonio, TX - on tap at the brewpub. Medium copper, light off-white head, brief lacing. Neutral aroma - not picking up anything. Standard brewpub amber flavor, light citrus, hint of caramel, traces of nuttiness. Thick enough mouthfeel. Decent session starter.
