Tap at brewpub. Clear copper with a thin cap of head. The smell is musty like an old home, but with some earthy toffee and funky citrus rind. The flavor is bittersweet with lots of murky earthiness, and bitter herbal hops. Mild and sessionable, but Im not a fan of the flavor.

Tap flight at the brewery. Dark amber-nutmeg pour. White head left a long time ago leaving a ring around the top of the brew. Aroma of caramel malt and hops. Taste is otter iced coffee with a drop of agave nectar and earthy hop bitterness. Very bitter on the end like an ESB. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
