Rated based on notes taken on 20 Mar 2012 -- Very interesting. Green color from the chili, can’t really taste it though. You can definitely taste the lime. Almost like a soda. Ferris (17070) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 26, 2014
Draft - Green chilies, lime and some yeast. Cloudy gold with a thin white head. Chilli pepper powder, lime, salt and a slight sour finish. The pepper powder ruins this, if it were a more natural tasting chilli it would have been better. That being said, as interesting as it was it was like drinking a marinade. travita (5008) - Dallas, Texas, USA - NOV 29, 2013
Tap at the brewpub. The smell is spiced, heavy aroma, mole sauce, and nutmeg. The look is cloudy, thin off white head, and dark orange in color. The taste is strong chiles, lemon lime, pepper, interesting. Very San Antonio. jkwalking05 (4745) - Arlington, Texas, USA - AUG 9, 2013
On tap at the brewpub. Hazy light amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is heavy lemon, lime, jalapeño. Taste is of wheat, jalapeño, lemon, sprite, light chili burn. djd07 (16289) - Houston, Texas, USA - JUL 13, 2012
On tap at brewpub. Pours a cloudy yellow orange with a small white head. The aroma is spice and chili. Thin mouthfeel with a spicy chili flavor and light spice finish. A decent wit from Freetail.

Tap at Freetail. Hazy golden with no head. The aroma is slightly spicy, wheat and some lemons. The taste is exactly as the name says, Chili Limon Wit. Spicy on the lips. I was afraid the chili and lemon would’ve been real subtle in an attempt to not overpower the beer. But its just right and you can taste all those aspects front and center which in this case is a very good thing. There was a slight burn at the back of my throat and this went well with the brisket pizza. dnstone (3625) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - JUL 21, 2011
Clear gold in color . A muti-vitamin, lime aroma. Salty with a pickeled jalapeno burn picked with lime...pretty gross, couldn’t finish it. Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - MAY 21, 2011
On tap at the brewpub. This was one of seven witbiers on tap during the most recent bottle release.
The beer pours a hazy yellow color with a white head, about what you would expect from a witbier. The aroma is about what I expected given the beer’s name. I get a lot of salt as well as some lemon and lime notes. The flavor is more of the same. There is a ton of limon flavor as well as some wheat and salty notes. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Easy to drink and very refreshing.
