Excellent beer by a local San Antonio brewery. I had this on tap. Dark as night. Coffee, roasted malty notes. Foamy head. Dense. The booze is there but not overpowering. Full body. Smooth wash down. A beer meant for deep Autumn or a cold Winter’s night. bhensonb (15601) - Woodland, California, USA - JUL 28, 2014
Bomber from Bu11zeye. Pours dark brown/black with no head. Aroma seems smoke, very. Full bodied or nearly. Flavor is smoke, ash dark malt, and some pepperiness. Getting a little chocolate. Really outstanding. marcus (10559) - Sacramento, California, USA - JUL 28, 2014
Bottle shared by bhensonb. Pours near black with no head and a smoky dark malt aroma. There is a hearty smoked malt and chocolate flavor with a slightly hot pepper finish.

Bottle 22fl.oz. @ [ Fastelavn Smagning - Carnival Tasting, Ulfborg ].
[ As Freetail La Muerta ].
Clear dark brown color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, dry wood - smoke, chocolate, dark roasted, smoke notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, sugary, sweet malt, roasted, molasses, light chocolate - coffee. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Bottle in Breckenridge with my dad. Pour is pitch black with a fluffy brown head and great lacing. Big smoke, meat drippings, cocoa, light coffee, marshmallows, and graham crackers in the aroma. Taste is smoky, dark chocolate dipped marshmallows, graham crackers, espresso, earthy hops, and grass with a toasted bitterness on the backend. Think mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Nice stout. Bottle shared at DLD. Pours a darkish brown without much head. Aroma is of slight peppers and cocoa powder. Taste has some pepper in it. TXBadger (2811) - Dallas, Texas, USA - APR 26, 2014
Pours a nice dark black color, a little thin on the viscosity scale. Chocolate, roasted malt are mainly present on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a hint of burnt nuts, probably the smoke they talk about.
