Bold aromas of coffee and chocolate. Flavors were roasted with a slight sweetness and bitter finish. Dark brown with a thin tan head. Full and weighty and smooth.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a dark black color with a tan head. Aroma is light coffee with some dark stout notes of malt. Flavor is dry, light roast and not really any coffee. Disappointing.

Bottle thanks to Rainer. Pours brown with small beige head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is roast, raisin, chocolate. Medium mouth, similar flavors to nose, good balance, really nice.

Deep dark brown pour with a thin light tan cap. Muddy nose with deep brown ale malts and a hint of earthy coffee, yet somehow nothing really special. Smooth and nice medium-full flavor with some earthy roast, semisweet chocolaty malt, a touch of biscuity brown ale dullness, and a dry malty/roasty/brown ale finish. Not as amazing as I feel it has the potential to be.

Dark brown pour, tan head. Straight forward coffee stout but very tasty. Really good coffee notes, perfect amount of roast and good chocolate flavors as well. Maybe a hint of licorice sneaking in.
