Light peach. Aroma - smells awful; funky and unplaceable aroma. Taste - great! Beautiful mild fruit big sour yet very smooth. Overall, nice tasting sour. brystmar (1314) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JAN 10, 2014
Batch 2, so this is relatively fresh. Hazy gold-straw, somewhat transparent with a good amount of silky white lace. dhunter151 (590) - Santa Rosa, California, USA - JAN 29, 2013
Aroma is off: super lactic, soured yeast, roast beef (srsly). Improves as it warms, but seriously some prime rib in there when chilled.
Canned peach juice. Mild tartness, lacks the depth and intensity of Woodicus. Honestly totally unlike the base, which I strongly prefer. B1 may have been better, but this isn't anything to write home about right now. No homerism here.
I do expect this to change significantly with time, though, and hopefully for the better.
Very sour but surprisingly very easy to drink. The peaches give it a tart taste. I liked this one a lot.

A- on tap. Bright hazy yellow with a creamy looking 1/2 finger white head. Really looks like a Lemon Meringue pie.
S- tart aromas, lemon, sour grape, some soft peach. A little bit of funk. Smells like Ananke. Awesome smelling wild ale.
T- this stuff is amazing. Sour peaches right off the bat, followed by that wild ale funk. Notes of lemon, sour green grape, straw, and champagne tartness.
M- nice medium bodied with a good amount of carbonation. Highly drinkable. I can drink this all day long.
O- this beer is truly excellent. Reminds me of Ananke with additions of sour peaches. This needs to be bottled. Very refreshing and looks beautiful vibrant and bright.

hazy golden color with white sheen. Big earthy bretty barnyard, aspirin, tart fruit aromas. medium body. medium tart, acidic sour fruit flavors with lightly dry pale malts--very good. djd07 (15342) - Houston, Texas, USA - JUL 13, 2012
On tap at brewpub. Pours a cloudy yellow with no head. The aroma is strong peach and apple. Thin mouthfeel with a sour apple and peach flavor with tart finish. Easy to drink a very good sour ale from Freetail. Terminus (3711) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - JUL 5, 2012
Tap at brewpub-pours clear yellow very lite with no head. nose is sour banyard kind of funk, lite vinegar-very nice! lots of lemon like sourness, kind of like a lemonhead candy. lite bitterness on the finish and a very nice sour note with alot of wood alongside it. This is almost a lambic if you ask me, just needs a bit more funky aspects. well done, but not the best sour i had in the sampler. Pours a cloudy yellow with a nose of peche blanket and horse barn blanket. Flavor is uber-sour peach. leathered cherry, and barn air. Oily mouthfeel. Wow. Just WOW.
Tap flight a the brewery. Peach version of the Ananke. Same cloudy golden color with no head. Tart peach aroma. The flavor reminds me a lot of the syrup at the bottom of canned peaches. Mildly sour. Not my thing but a way into sours for fruit beer lovers??
