A- on tap. Bright hazy yellow with a creamy looking 1/2 finger white head. Really looks like a Lemon Meringue pie.
S- tart aromas, lemon, sour grape, some soft peach. A little bit of funk. Smells like Ananke. Awesome smelling wild ale.
T- this stuff is amazing. Sour peaches right off the bat, followed by that wild ale funk. Notes of lemon, sour green grape, straw, and champagne tartness.
M- nice medium bodied with a good amount of carbonation. Highly drinkable. I can drink this all day long.
O- this beer is truly excellent. Reminds me of Ananke with additions of sour peaches. This needs to be bottled. Very refreshing and looks beautiful vibrant and bright.
Rated based on notes taken 27 May 2012 -- At the brewery during San Antonio Craft Beer Week. Strong sour cherries, with bitter middle and sweet finish, PhillyCraft (8538) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 19, 2015
Bottle with Al, Pours a murky golden color with small to medium white head. Honey and graham cracker smell among some peaches. Flavor is sour peach, toasty malt, candy sugars. A touch too sweet and acidic for me. Also has a couple odd notes that are harder to pick up but slightly off-putting. Experiment_Ale (1098) - Dallas, Texas, USA - FEB 20, 2015
At Jacob’s house with group. Cat food aroma, funky feet, some fruit sour, but not good. hopscotch (11552) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - DEC 30, 2014
Bottle... Pours hazy and yellow with a small, fleeting, white head. The aroma features lemon-like acidity and barnyard funk with a slight note of fuzzy fruit – peach or apricot or both. Medium-bodied and lightly creamy with airy carbonation. The flavor is sour and citrusy. Finishes snappy, acutely tart and mildly tongue-numbing. Very nice. Bottle courtesy of newcigarz! Golden pour with a white head. The aroma is full of peaches with some biscuit malt thrown in. The flavor is similar. I get some juicy, tart peaches and some biscuit malt. There is also a hint of oak. The tartness is fairly light but is present and adds something to the beer. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

- pours apricot yellow with no head. S - you can tell this is an ananke derivative. That chemical tone. Honey, canned peaches, pineapple juice, lemon juice and acetic acid. Notes of candied sugar. M - sweet as dry. Low carb. Nice amount of sour. T - follows the nose with lots of peach and canned pineapple. Honey and that freetail
Sour goodness. O - another nice freetail sour. TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - APR 1, 2014
Bottle shared at Dunt’s Tasting (Chicago, IL). Pours a nice hazy golden hue, gentle bubbly carbonation, frothy whitish head dies to a decent ring, laces ok. Aromas are gentle peach, crisp cereal and bready malts. A touch of straw, gentle yeastiness and oak. Mellow peach and lactic acidity. Nose comes on a bit harder as it settles in. Initial is a bit tart, fruity, the wit base certainly shows some life. A bit of coriander, citrus and bready malt. Touches of lactic acidity meet sweet and tart peaches, peach juice, oak and gentle bready malt. Flavors and sour element comes together better into the backend. A bit more lactic and oak presence, the base comes more in line. A bit more bitey sourness and peach as we really get there, distinct bready and cereal malts. Nice at times, a firm sourness but also a lot of base and Wit feel at others. A nice beer, better than that Salado we opened a few months back but still a bit young. Solid. Clear, slight yellow appearance. No head. Raw peach and apricot and slightly sweet taste is awesome. Lovely tartness. Sweet and lots of grainy grassiness. Really nice
