Bottle share on the brewbus by Thirdeye11 I believe. Pours a dark brown color with a medium white head. The aroma is massive cherries, oak, caramel, candy, big barrel. A sweet favor with lots of tart elements, cherries, toasted malts, figs, some sweeter spirit (not sure what this was aged in), and lingering sour fruit. Very nice. crossovert (12911) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 28, 2012
Nice sourness to go with the sweet port. A sweeter sour but not devoid of complexity. darker than I expected. Travlr (24728) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JAN 5, 2013

Bottle provided by Huhzubendah. Thanks! Poured a ruby color with a wispy white head. Aroma was slightly tart, with some sweet, but still pretty tart notes. A pretty drinkable and enjoyable brew. Liked this one a lot. emacgee (4675) - Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA - APR 30, 2013
Thanks JCB. Pours a soft mahogany brown with a thin fizzy tan head. Lots of dark fruit and vinous notes in the nose, oaky with a light caramel-like sweetness and slight cherry notes. Very nice/round acidity with a lots of dark fruit and a touch of sweetness in the flavor. Light medium bodied. slowrunner77 (12040) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 12, 2014
"Sour red reminiscent of a slightly duller Oude Tart, with the aging in port barrels giving it a nice acidity and a little extra sweetness and oak. Finish is just ok, but it’s a solid sour..."

On tap at RealTail 2012. Pours a cloudy amber with a small creamy beige head leaving sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is vinegar sour fruit and oak. Thin mouthfeel with a strong tart and light malt and funk. Easy to drink hiding alcohol well, a very good sour ale from Freetail.
