On tap at the brewpub.
The beer pours a dark brown color with a tan head. The aroma has a lot of dark fruit and cherries, as well as some toffee malt. The flavor is quite funky, with some leather notes to go along with some barnyard funk. I also get some tart cherries and tart grapes, as well as a hint of sweetness from the toffee malt. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. HighWine (959) - Whalezbro, Illinois, USA - AUG 16, 2012
Tap flight at the brewery. Brown colored pour with a red hue and a medium lacing white head. Aroma of lightly aged balsamic vinegar and red wine vinegar. Taste is slightly sour but not at all funky or overpowering. Reminiscent of a less sweet Duchesse De Bourgone. Clean finish. A refreshing sour and good for noobs to the style. Bartender says this must have mellowed because it was really sour a month and a half ago. Well done. mar (5434) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUL 19, 2013
Deep amber with a cream head. Nose is light vinegar, tart, sour, wood, and sweet. Great on the palate, sour, tart, acidic, wood, delicious. arminjewell (9689) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - JUL 20, 2013
Pour out of 750 mL bottle, thanks Dave for the pour! Clear dark red pour with white head, aroma brought notes of tart fruits, hints of oak, slight vinegar, hints of caramel. Taste is a mix of tart fruit, mixed caramel, toffee, touch of oak, slight caramel, finishing fairly tart, slightly bitter. Tasty. CloakedDagger (2654) - - NOV 8, 2014
Bottle 65 cl. Pours a clear, orangey brown with a rich, creamy and lacing beige cappuchinoish head. Tart balsamico aroma, combined with some sweet vanilla oak. Medium-bodied, caramel initially but then a complex tart red wine balsamico note sets in. Not bad if not the most complex of its sort. 081114

Pours like a nice black cup of joe in color with a bit of a soapy head. Slight aroma of soil and clay. Nice tangy sour on the palate that finishes dry. Overall a solid brew... brnandersen (4026) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 12, 2014
Sample from 65 cl. bottle. Dark, amber colour with a lighter tint. Lightly tanned head. Sour aroma with lemons, wood, fruits. Taste is sour. Some acetone. Medium body with a creamy texture and an average carbonation. Finishes sour with lemons. More acetone. Lovely paint thinner - I enjoyed it. JStax (6995) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - MAY 12, 2013
22 ounce bottle thanks to Errl. Pours a darker copper with no head of foam. The aroma is sour and tannic with big vanilla and oak notes coming through. Not hugely sour, but there is a slight tartness here.
