UPDATED: FEB 23, 2005 really nice Pils I enjoyd at a cafe in Freiburg. A bit watery, easily drinkable, slightly hoppy, alot of women were drinking this while the men had the traditional Ganter Pils.. a decent beer , very appealing label also..

Pale golden color, frothy head. Grassy, flowery, hoppy aroma. Hopbitter, slightly metallic flavor. Long grassy bitter aftertaste. Thinnish. Hint of orange.

Bottled 33cl. Bought in Lörrach. Slight wet sock reminiscence in the finish. Good balance. A pleasant beer.

bottle. Clear yellow colour, mid-sized white head. Good hoppy nose. Elegant, light-bodied, yet solid malty base with lots of grassy-herbal hops.

2.9
Idiosynkrasie (7966) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - AUG 10, 2014
330ml bottle ["imparted" by the man himself, giving me the chance to taste what bartlebier is forced to drink at his local Döner takeaway - thanks!]. Clear, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally grainy, pale malty aroma, cautious ordinary hoppy overtones, yeasty hints of shrivelled, cellar-stored, worm-eaten, small yellow apples. Taste is decently herbal hoppy, cautious malt spiciness, very subtle malt sweetness carries a note of overripe yellow apple. Clean, balanced and integrated.

Alright, from a bottle in Atlantik Cafe, Freiburg. Really cool hipster spot. The beer was mediocre, but at least it was proud and local.
