Bottle. Aromas are wheat, pears, and light smoked meat. Tastes slightly sour with a light balancing smokiness. Thick wheat base. Almost creamy mouthfeel. I really like this obscure style. Huhzubendah (3705) - Washington DC, USA - JUN 11, 2015
Draft at Pizzeria Paradiso in Old Town.
Hazy yellow body with a white cap. Smoke, campfire, wheat, sunshine. Light to medium body. Quite tasty. CObiased (496) - Bayfield, Colorado, USA - MAY 6, 2015
Pours a hazy cloudy golden sunshine color with a slight head. Unique aroma of biscuity wheat, smoke, tobacco and a slight citrus sour note. A mouthful is light and different. Smoked wheat and mild citrus capitalize the flavors. kaser (6220) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 6, 2015
Bright yellow and cloudy pour from 16oz bottle. White head. Smokey, straw, grassy and lemon aroma. Smokey taste dominates. Lemons, flowers and yeast taste too. Weird. Haven't had a beer like this before. Punkero (447) - FINLAND - APR 25, 2015
Nice gently smoked. Like ham. Still a bit sweet and lovely punch. This is strange. Not bad, but something ain’t right. I don’t get it. Maybe too fancy to me.

Pours orange with a light haze and a white head. The aroma has peaches, peat smoke, lemons, caramel and a bit of meatiness. It has a medium / light body that is pretty smooth and a good amount of gentle carbonation. The flavor starts off with smooth wheat malt, caramel, citric acid, orange peel, lactic sourness and a bit of smoke underlying. The smoke comes out more in the finish and the sourness goes to the back. Interesting beer. Don’t think I’d want it all the time, but a nice change of pace. TAP at pikkulintu. Pours dark orange with white lacing head. Notes of smoked ham, citrus, hops, wheat, grapefruit, light smoke, fruity and Smokey. Very good beer with excellent drinkabillity. Goes down very easy. Very light body tho.omhper (24972) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - APR 8, 2015
Bottled, from Systembolaget. Hazy golden, small head. Mild citric smoky nose. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Fruity and lightly smoky, light lactic sourness, notes of pine needles and butter. Low bitterness. Much, much better and balanced than the Abraxas I had years ago. davidtjm (1074) - Berlin, GERMANY - APR 7, 2015
Tap at Hopfenreich. Pour is gold with a medium head, aroma is fruity, smoky, sweet. Taste is sour, pears, thin. Nice rdixon77 (2763) - Georgia, USA - APR 4, 2015
On tap. Excellent, interesting beer. Pour cloudy dark gold. Smoke and sour apples in the nose. Taste had a lemon zest, moderate tartness, with just an inkling of smoke. THe surprising part was that it was blend so well. Really refreshing and drinkable. Very surprised.
