The pour is amber, the color in the glass is black with a nice vast light brown head, that disappears slow and leaves a vast light brown lacing on top of this beer.
Smell meat, smoke, toasted malts, tar and coal.
Taste is a good mix of coal, vanilla, smoke, espresso, dark chocolate, bitter, roasted barleys. A good bitter taste mixed well with vanilla and tar.
Good bitter (light herby) aftertaste with hints of espresso and dark chocolate.
Low carbo, soft silky mouthfeel, full body and an oily light sticky texture.

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle. Pours a dark brown color with a tan head. The aroma has a lot of vanilla and chocolate notes with some roasted malt. The flavor is full of chocolate and vanilla as well. I also get some roasted malt and a hint of oak. Fairly dry. Medium to thick mouthfeel and low to medium carbonation. Bottle. Almost black and opague. Roasted malt, ash and vanilla in the aroma. Full bodied, very thick, you can almost chew this beer. Roast, ash, vanilla and hints of dark chocolate in the slightly alcoholic flavor. Not very sweet but powerful. Ash and tobacco in the aftertaste. Mint. Nice one! Pours as viscous as its Mocha sibling; but with an order of magnitude higher beige head, even relatively stable. Musky smell, like something out of experimental cuisine; caramelized rare vegetable purée or so; fuselalcohols. But... enticing. Dry, sweet and faint bitterish flavour, with spikes of alcohol and fusels; fruity esters, smothered in light treacle. And finally, after some warming, up, vanillabeans and crème Anglaise with melanoidins. Very, very well-bodied; huge alcoholwarming. Yes, it’s not just plain vanilla. Im Geruch sehr schwer röstmalzig mit holzigen Noten.
Gewichtiger, süßmalziger Start. Mitte von enormer Dichte, röstmalzig und etwas alkoholisch. Abgangs schwer malzig, holzfaßbetont, whiskyartig und vanillig. Alkoholisch nachbrennend.
