Cloudy dark amber color with generous creamy head, persistent. Nice and mild aroma of cedar wood, spices, frankincense. Moderate carbonation, light caramel flavor, evident cedar wood and frankincense character; it doesn’t have the fruity touch of other cedar wood beer, it’s very pleasant; a different one, although it could get better with a citrusy touch.
Draught at Beer Temple. Hazy a bit murky brownish color, full sized off-white head. Smell malts, smoke and some paint. Taste malts, smoke and also paint. Weird and absolutely not my thing at all. kermis (14478) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - DEC 23, 2012

Decent creamy off white head. Hazy amber pour. Woody notes. Very interesting brew. jackl (8291) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - AUG 9, 2012
Gravity @ GBBF ’12. Pours a deep, murky brown color with no head. The nose is strong cedar wood. Like sticking your face into a cedar chest. Pulpy and lightly sweet, grainy. The taste is tangy cedar supported by rich earthy malts. Some show polish. Long finish. Flavorful. This beer drinks very easy considering the chunky ABV. Medium body, soft carbonation. Good! altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - NOV 23, 2012
On tap at Beer Temple. Dark brown with perfect head. Nose is olives and oliy. Not nice. Quite smoky and spicy. Didn’t enjoy it.
