Cask at In de Wildeman, Amsterdam, listed at 6% ABVcucuma (89) - kontich, BELGIUM - NOV 8, 2012
Cloudy dark amber color with generous creamy head, persistent. Nice and mild aroma of cedar wood, spices, frankincense. Moderate carbonation, light caramel flavor, evident cedar wood and frankincense character; it doesn’t have the fruity touch of other cedar wood beer, it’s very pleasant; a different one, although it could get better with a citrusy touch.
had it on tap @ The Wildeman. Comes brown-ish with a beige, cream head.
Nose is interesting, fruity, wood/cedar. you can note malt.
Taste is to heavy, unbalanced wood/cedar in the first seconds. In the aftertaste it comes more balanced.
