Draft at Birch & Barley. Not pink, no tanks. Muddy chestnut color, fine lacing. Aroma of earthy caramel. Taste is slightly sour and earthy.
Draft, Snallygaster. Medium of-white head atop dark brown body. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, some hibiscus, orange. Taste is moderately sweet, caramel, light orange, flower, faint cherry. Light-medium body, some effervescence. crossovert (13724) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 13, 2014
Stretch labelling this as a sour or wild. The hibiscus dominates perhaps it should be a herb spice beer.j12601 (13028) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - NOV 30, 2013

Interesting imperial altbier. Huge on floral notes tastes a bit old but otherwise nice.
On tap at Spuyten for their Fruity Cologne! event. Pours a hazed ruby with a medium to large creamy beige head. Sour milk,a but of roast and malt. Medium bodied, paper and touches of infection. Not terrible, but not really worth the time. Little hints of tartness. GT (10002) - San Diego, California, USA - OCT 25, 2013
Tap at CK thanks to craftycarl21! Thick brown haze head great foam. Huge lacing. Nose is excellent pancake, strawberry syrup, smoke. Taste is malty, toffee, pancake batter. Rich, dense. Wasn’t sour or really what I’d call a hibiscus beer- way too malty/rich.

10oz on tap at Liberty’s. Completely hazy dark red, kind of brown color. Decent ropes of lace. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, kind of soft, lighter carbonation. Kind of slick texture, more drying in the finish.; Dark fruit, some stale flavors up front, but they subside as Ig o. Some cherry, and floral notes. Some oxidization in the nose. Moderate sweet taste, lightly tart. Didn’t really notice much sourness at all up front, until I started thinking about it. Interesting stuff to try. Not bad. Wonder how old it is, though... Tastes a bit unnecessarily malty. solidfunk (9363) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - SEP 12, 2013
Orange clear pour with foam and some lacing. Some hibiscus, nice malt comes together well but not super sour. On tap at Ebenezer Kezar’s. nimbleprop (8709) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - NOV 6, 2013
4oz at Churchkey. Pours a clear mahogany amber with some lacing white head. Nose is floral and sweet, some cracker and malt, not too much else, sweet. Flavor is malty, floral, rose hips, honey comb, earthy, mild blood orange, light pomegranate. Clean finish. jredmond (8510) - New York, New York, USA - NOV 25, 2013
Draft at Spuyten with Dallas and Street. Pours a hazy murky brown body with one finger off white head. Aroma is strong alcohol, strong spice and a light floral character. Mouthfeel is carbonated with a bitter, abrasive alcohol character up front; backing flavors of belgian spice, flowers, soap, dark fruit and lots of booze. radagast83 (8301) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - SEP 20, 2013
On draft at Pizzeria Paradiso Dupont. Poured a slightly dark indigo copper color with a small slightly off-white head. Aroma was dried fruits, some light sour, but not sour-sour. Flavor was a very light tart character, not that sour, but interesting enough. I didn’t get a whole lot of flowers, but then again I’m not usually eating a bunch of hibiscus flowers.
