Bottled (backlog). Hazy deep murky amber colour with a small slightly off-white head. Aroma is fruity, some caramel malts along with mild wooden and some slight spicy notes. Flavour is the same in a good balance, but also has a slight yeastiness and also a bit of alcohol to it. Interesting.

ACBF. Cloudy brown beer, no head. Licoricey fruity malt. Quite dry. A trace of herbs. Some fruity spice which I presume the Killepitsch oaking is providing but I’m not familiar with this liquor! Dry finish. Interesting!

37.5cl bottle. (Vielen Dank Roman!)

Koelschtrinker (21318) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 25, 2011
Ziemlich gut! 12/13/11/13/13/12
