Rated on 10-16-2016. (Bottle) The appearance is a medium sized smooth ivory head that has a short retention, transparent amber body, fizzy, fast rising, lively carbonation, and spotty lacing. The aroma is wheat, caramel malt and bready. The flavor presents light bitterness, dark fruit, some wheat, caramel malt, and lightly sweet. The mouthfeel is light carbonation and semi-smooth. This beer is light-medium bodied. This is a drinkable beer without the traditional clove and banana characters. It has a light hop bitterness and I have drank/rated better beers of this style.

Nice yeasty, biscuit aroma. Hoppy wheat beer. Smoothe. I prefer a traditional hefeweizen, but this is good.

On tap at Holy Grale. Pours a cloudy orange with medium creamy white head that lasts. The aroma is wheat, citrus, spice. Medium body, similar flavors to nose, light finish, good.

bottle @ Party Source / Bellevue KY --- Aroma of malt and bread. Clear dark amber color, off-white head that stays at 1", sheets of lace. Taste is caramel malt that turns slightly bitter in a medium carbonated swallow, then moves smoothly to a finish that turns toward toffee. An unusual Hefeweizen, but not totally at odds with the style.

pityu (681) - Budapest, HUNGARY - AUG 23, 2016
Bottle - Cloudy orange colour, medium and quite durable foamy white head. Bready aromas with some crushed grains, some spice and dough. Taste is rather sweet with some honey, caramel, bread, dough, some cooked vegetables and just a touch of banana. Light to medium body, soft carbonation, smooth mouthfeel, a bit empty finish. Not a typical hefeweizen, but its drinkable though.

Tallahassee, Fl - Beer Stop - 500 ml bottle. Cloudy medium orange pour, initial soapy white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma of ripening vegetables, not much else. Flavor leans to the bland side of the spectrum, very light clove accents, some banana flavoring, some ripening vegetable notes. Smooth mouthfeel. Not one of Germanys finest.

Lemongrass and sweet kibble nose, not strong. Cloudy copper, medium yellow head. Honey, kibble, oranges, lemongrass. Medium body, moderate carbonation. Rather like a hellerbock.

Aromas of a fruity bread. Amber beer with thin creamy white head. Medium body smooth grain flavor, little complexities pop through out the sip.

Bottle. Right off the bat, I love that the guy on the label reminds me of my grandpa! This pours a light amber-gold, and is quite hazy, with a dense lasting cream coloured head. Soft and bready, with light caramel/bread crust notes and rustic yeast character. Simple and satisfying.

This is certainly not a Hefeweizen in the traditional sense and Im really not even sure Id call it a Hefe. Pours an amber color with a decent sized white head that dissipates rather quickly. Good aromas of sweet malt, caramel, bread and some musty notes. No banana or clove flavors but more sweet malt, some dark fruit and maybe a little wheat. Light-medium body with some hop bitterness at the end. An interesting beer.......not bad.
