Bottle. Pours a murky, darker orange beer without any head on top. Aroma of vinegar, strong cinnamon, a bit smokey. Flavor is very, very tart, stringent and tangy. Loads of vinegar and herbal notes in there again. This was a really old bottle, best before somewhere in 2012, so it must not have aged all that well. Soft carbonation, biting mouthfeel. Botled (backlog). Deep amber colour with a small slightly off-white head. Aroma is fruty, spicy, some rosemary and mild wooden sourness to it. Flavour is some toasted and sweetish maltiness, rosemary, mild spices as well as some wooden sourness to it. Bottled @ de Molen 2nd Tuesday tasting. 10cl sample. bbd mar 2012. The aroma has sweetish honey, maple, pine, rosemarry. Clear, brown coloured beer with no head. Bottled @ de Molen tasting, BB March 2012, small sample. Hazy brownish color, short head. Aroma of rosemary, some vinous note, bit port, caramel, toffee, hint of raisin. Sour taste, bit sweet. Besides the spices in the aroma, underneath is some wonderful aged barley-wine-like beer. However in taste, the sourness ruins it. Bottle @ 2nd tuesday tasting. Aroma is red fruits, vinegar, anis, herbs. Flavour is tangy red fruits, vinegar, caramel, loads of spices. Wierd.

Sampled from bottle @ De Molen 2nd Tuesday Tasting. Hazy red - brownish color, virtually no head. Aroma is toothpaste and a horrible mix of herbs and spices. Taste is fortunately a bit better due to lightly sourish influences. The herbs and spices are way less prominent so it’s quite drinkable imo, as long as you don’t smell it. Bottle. Pours a dark amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity spicy weak rosemary aroma. Fruity malty sour woody flaovr with hints of rosemary. Fruity malty sour woody spicy finish.
