BKL2017. Very similar to the raspberry version:
Huge umami nose, champions, seaweed, soy
Murky brown, brown lace.
Worcester sauce start, salt, medium light body, berries give it a light balsamic touch. Cherry retronasal, barelly, light infection notes.

Mix cherries and coffee and you basically get this beer. A bit sour cause of cherries, a bit malty sweet, with nice coffee-ish taste,v tasty
Bottle at Maxs. OIly, cherry Porter. Thin malts, mellow non-carbonation. The sour comes out more after a few sips. Weird beer, not really in line with the other Freigeist beers I have had. Oil bomb. Sort of a more enjoyable Adambier. Ritzn (1311) - GERMANY - FEB 13, 2017

500ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, from trade with Erzengel. Many thanks! Pours deep brown, very faint reddish hints, thin tan head. Aroma is morello cherry jam pie filling, dark cocoa. Taste is cherry pie, light sour, nutty chocolate. Not sure it works, but it’s interesting. rusos (748) - Stupava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - JAN 4, 2017
Bottle, from secret Santa. Aroma is roasted, chocolate, cheries, bacterial. Taste is firstly somewhat sweet, roasted, then sour and tart. Sour cheries. Not Bad. Gurthnar (5812) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - JAN 4, 2017
Bottle at a tasting. Hazy dark brown c. Assertive sourness and even more tartness - feels like tannins, wood. Cherry is present in its natural fermented-out state and moderate intensity. I cant help but perceive this as single-dimensional, though interesting and good. Not very drinkable, neither complex. Cuso (8614) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - JAN 4, 2017
Bottle kindly shared by rusos, many thanks. Brown color with small tan head. Chocolate, roasted malt in aroma. Sour taste with cherries, chocolate, roasted malt. Good.
