At a tasting, thanks, almost no head, murky dark brown color, aroma of minerals and plaster with some chocolate. not too pleasant, same traits in flavor with some caramel and maltz. Not good, difficult to drink.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Tom L's place. Thanks zvikar. Brown. Caramel, malt, chocolate, oxidation, a bit of fruitiness, a bit of plaster, sweetish, slightly sourish, some roast. OK.

Borresteijn (7517) - Zaandam, NETHERLANDS - JUL 31, 2017
33cl Bottle from Vonk. Dark brown colour, beige head. Aroma of cola, something herbal mixed with brown sugar, roast, ash. Flavour of cola, ash, laurel, berries, light sourness, hint of coffee. Light bodied. Weird stuff, makes you come back for more although - or because -you’re not sure you like it or not.

blackisle (2846) - Amsterdam IJburg, NETHERLANDS - APR 13, 2017
Bottle 33cl. [bbd 09/2016], poured into a shaker. Clear deep amber brown, mid-sized frothy beige head, half-way lasting, good lacing; aroma roasted malts, cocoa, coffee, dark bread, dark fruits; taste medium sweet and bitter, roasted malts, milk chocolate; retronasal smoke, thin malty sweetbitter aftertaste, ashy, bit fruity; light to medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation; overall okay but lacking body and zest.

Jashiu (1404) - Gdañsk, POLAND - MAR 25, 2017
Unfortunately about a month after the due date and there had to be some strong infection cause it’s bandages and nothing else in this beer now. Yuck

Bov (13284) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - MAR 25, 2017
@Erzbierschof - clear and very dark beer with a moderate foam left; complex aroma of pine needles, cacao, vanilla, cloves and tobacco; moderate malt backbone; quite sweet, spicy, earthy, bitter and long piney and vanilla finish - nice

I rather enjoyed this Porter. Not too heavy but with a nice strong aroma. Great bottle too.

2.4
ciocanelu (2993) - Timisoara, ROMANIA - NOV 10, 2016
Brown color with light brown head. Aroma has a really weird chemical, medicinal note with some toasted malt underneath. Taste starts slightly tart with some of the medicinal notes from the aroma. There are some toasted malts and a slightly bitterness on the finish. Light body with light to medium carbonation. It’s a really weird tasting beer, didn’t really enjoy it.

3.2
Salwal (486) - GERMANY - AUG 25, 2016
Bottle poured into snifter pours nutbrown opaque with off white head. Nose is intense roasty malts, dark breadcrump and some dark chocolate. Taste is roasty toasty in middle part but quite watery too. Not to much going on there finish is quite simple roasty toasty too... Not overwhelming...
