COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewing is the craft of blending science with artistry then introducing the mystical. Field to Ferment exemplifies this adventure. We will brew this fresh hop ale throughout the entire hop harvest in Yakima using each of four hop varieties as they are harvested. At least that’s the plan. Nature may have a different plan. Such is the harvest. In order of harvest, we will brew with fresh Centennial, Simcoe, Citra, and finally Mosaic hops.

Field to Ferment represents a colossal collaboration between the brewery and our hop farmers. No one has attempted to brew fresh hop beers throughout the entire season. Please do enjoy this beer absolutely fresh, and enjoy the adventure this beer represents...Because Fresh Hop Beer Matters!

Pour is a hazy orange with a large white head. Aroma is full of pine and slight citrus. Flavor is a little light and not as hoppy as the aroma would let on. Finish has a little honey malt and almost no bitterness. This was just ok. The aroma was the best thing about this beer.

355ml can @ Matt's. Pours a hazy amber colour with a thin white head. Nose is semi spicy and herbal hops with a subtle piney note. Flavour is semi rough herbal hop character which lends way to biscuity malt backbone and a mild bitter finish.

355ml can at Matt's. Pours a hazy golden with a weak white head. Aroma is earthy, dirty and grassy, meh. Same taste. Harsh, meh.

12 oz. can, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out herbal hops, some light pine, and biscuity malt. Flavour has a pleasant herbal hop character upfront, with a nice crisp biscuity malt backbone. Astringent finish. Decent stuff.

Light amber colour, with a thin head. On the nose, a little piney and a little bit cheesy, with some biscuity malts. Has moderate bitterness, and again a bit of that biscuity malt character. There's more bitterness than in the citra, and with the centennial the hop character comes across a little bit better. To me, decent balance for a fresh hop.

On Tap Hazy orange light amber. Thin brief off white head. Typical floral grassy fresh hop aroams and flavors. Quite hoppy and bitter. Big and agressive for a pale. Robust bitterness a the end but good fresh hop flavors.
