4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
22 oz bomber. Pours a beautiful hazy golden color, with a pearly white head. Some lacing. Aroma is yeasty banana and clove. Flavor is a pleasant combination of bread and fruit, with cidery notes. The palate is lively, with a nice finish. Overall a great seasonal offering from my favorite Seattle brewery.

Hazy blond color. Off dry pale ale, with some spicy yeast character, a bit soapy; correct bitterness.
Seems like a random attempt at Saisons.
Not the freshest, but not bad either. Bready, VERY light hops (hints of citrus and pine) and some dusty fruit notes on the nose and flavor. Likely past its prime and still enjoyable. mcberko (19002) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 7, 2016
On tap at Fremont, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is quite floral and perfumey, with a paint thinner like hoppiness. Flavour is along the same lines, with perfume, paint thinner and floral hoppiness. Yuck, not sure what they are going for here. Like a cosmetic department. kramer (6905) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 17, 2016
Tap. Pours a slightly cloudy yellow body with a small fizzy white head that faded to a wispy film. The nose is really interesting, some earthy Saison like yeastiness, wheat, light floral hops, and some botanical notes. The flavor is rather wheat ale like up front, a nice bright hoppiness, some interesting estery yeast byproducts, earthy wheat, and lingering floral hops. Mouthfeel is light and airy with fizzy lively carbonation and a lingering finish. Pretty nice, not the typical BdG, very enjoyable. Capa (3448) - Kitsap, Washington, USA - APR 11, 2015
Clear gold with a white head. Light spice, citrus or lemon, a bit of earth, lightly sweet fruit. Medium thin body. Flavor is light spice, bright citrus, a bit of dough, lightly vinous. Soft flavors overall but rather tasty. I really enjoyed this beer.

A: Lots of bubblegum and apple.
A: 1 finger head. See through straw yellow body.
T: Apple, bubblegum, and pear are dominant. Spices are subtle.
P: Very crisp and refreshing. Very dry.
O: I’m not much for saisons. but this was good. Beerdrinker79 (2218) - Idaho, USA - DEC 9, 2014
22 oz bottle- Pours slightly hazy golden with a thin soapy white head. Aroma is lemon, grains, wheat, yeasty, fresh cut grass. Taste is yeast, wheat, lemon and grains, good if not basic. Body is a bit thin, carbonation is fine. Not bad. poisoneddwarf (2648) - Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, USA - NOV 7, 2014
Bomber, bottled about 2 1/2 months ago. Aroma is bubblegum, dough, citrus drink powder, clove. Pours hazy golden with a thick white head with great retention. Taste is sweet, spicy, lightly tart, earthy, light bitterness in the finish. Slightly foamy mouthfeel, medium body. Straight and basic for style, but it tastes good. andrewje41 (4278) - Kenmore, Washington, USA - OCT 26, 2014
22 oz bottle pour. Pours a cloudy yellow color with a mild fresh fruit aroma. A really dry saison here with a lot of different fruit flavors. Really easy drinking beer that seems to fit the season just right. Not the most stand out saison out there, but I enjoyed this. Good stuff. OldMrCrow (2446) - Seattle, Washington, USA - OCT 4, 2014
Can from Bob’s
Interesting to do a saison as one’s harvest ale. Clear gold pour, white head. This is pretty much your classic estery American saison, all banana and fruit and very little funk, a bit sweet, pepper and hops in the close. It’s not bad, but it’s not something I’m eager to through can after can of the way I was with Frement’s summer APA. In fact, I fear the rest of the sixpack is going to join the ’13 celebration ale rotting in the garage.
