On tap @ Fremont. Cannot believe I havent rated this yet... Pours bright golden copper with thin lacy off-white head. Aroma is lightly toasted caramel malt with fresh herbal earthy hops on the back. Taste is similar - rich and roasty caramel malt that is light bodied at the same time. Hops are crisp and clean, big pine and dark citrus notes that linger slightly bitter through the finish. Clean and balanced, nicely restrained for an IPA. Right there with 3 Grid, just behind Lucille and Trickster for my favorite WA IPA.

Bottle: poured golden with a white lacy head. Aroma was sweet Carmel with a mix of floral and piny hops. The taste is what I expect from a west coast IPA! Nice balance of earthy pony and floral hops. Well done!

On tap at the brewery. Pours amber with an off-white head. Aroma of floral and lightly piney and citrusy hops, some pale and light caramel malts, and some dough. Flavor the same with a nice blend. Average texture. A solid IPA.
