Pale yellow, white head. Nose is fresh citrus, grass, earth, light bitterness. Easy palate, grassy hops, lemon, clean finish. onceblind (9627) - Denver, Colorado, USA - OCT 22, 2015
Hazy light golden with a rocky white head. Very pungent aroma loaded with hops, with that earthy leafy dry-hopped tone I love, a bit of grassiness, and a stern bit of grapefruit rind. Crisp and light body with a nice flavor of grassy, leafy, grapefruity hops, a wee bit of earthy resin, crisp leafy dry hops, and a pale, crisp, balancing pale malt body. just a hint too pithy and resiny but otherwise quite nice. Could have also used a little bit of a sharper flavor, as it is it tastes just a wee watered. ippopotamo36 (2379) - Rome, ITALY - MAY 12, 2016
On tap at The Pine Box pub in Seattle-USA. Hazy yellow pour a bit bright, great adhesive white foamy head. Nose: piney, grapefruit, resin. Mouth: medium carbo, piney crazy bitterness, session mild character and really bitter.

Rating #1925 - 2015.09.25 #CraftTakesSeattle Day 2, Beer 24 - Yellowish amber pour with a bubbly, lasting white foam. Aroma is sweet citrusy, tangerine notes, mild grassiness.Taste is light citrus and pine sweetness, tempered by a tame hoppy bitterness. Medium bodied, mild alcohol warmth, and very well balanced. Can. Golden color and little head. Pleasant and full grassy and grapefruit aroma. Upfront this is delightfully hoppy and malty. However, the flavor quickly disappears and finishes with grassy bitterness. Still a refreshing and great sessionable hoppy offering.

12 oz can poured into a pint glass. Pours bright golden yellow with thin white head that lingers well. Aroma is slightly spicy fresh hops. Taste is crisp dry malt with earthy grassy bitter hops. Body is a little thin, but it doesn’t taste like a 4% beer. This would be perfect on a hot summer day. Certainly a departure from past SBW beers. jimmytalent (84) - New York, USA - MAY 3, 2013
Pale yellow with a tight white head. Strong scent of citrus. Flavors: pineapple, citrus, and a little grain. Very nice session ale.

On tap pours a pale golden color with a thin white head that leaves great lacing. Smells of pine, citrus, and tropical. Tastes of all the same things with a pretty good hop bite. Mouthfeel is pretty light with good carbonation. This was a good and hoppy session pale ale. Could probably drink 3 or 4 pints of this no problem. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JUL 3, 2013
(12oz can, courtesy of Mora2000) Pours a clear yellow body with a tall foamy white head. Aroma of grapefruit, pineapple, florals, and biscuit. Flavor of biscuit, pineapple, citrus, light pine, and caramel with a moderately dry finish. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - AUG 18, 2013
Can:   Pale golden, vibrant, moderate frothy white head, nice lacing.   Soft citrus peel, pith, and bright
straw on the nose.   Moderate bitterness on the tongue.   Pith and peel.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.
Bright hoppy finish, also with straw and hay.   Good balance, not dull, and not overly hopped.   Solid example of
an American Pale Ale.
