12 oz can. Really nice fresh hops aroma. Flavor has a good balance of malt and hops, all in a light, easy drinking pale. Malt has a very cereal like flavor. Grassy hops presence all throughout. Pretty good beer to drink all day. Finishes a little on the sweet side. Overall, a pretty good pale here here.

Awesome-looking 12-oz can. Pours a pale goldenrod color, thick pearly head, good lacing. Aroma is grassy hops with some hay and cereal malt notes. Flavor is a perfect blend of grassy hops up front with a great backbone of malt. It doesnt knock you out, but its very drinkable. Overall an excellent pale ale.

Hops: Columbus, Centennial, Cascade and Simcoe. Malts: Pale, Special Aromatic, and Victory. Poured from a can into a tumbler on 12.27.13. A: See through golden. 1 finger fluffy head that retains well. S: Delicious citrus, pine. Fantastic! T: Pine, citrus, flower. Malt is there as a base. M: Crisp. Perfect carbonation. O: This was the first APA that I had ever tried and it blew me away. This beer changed my view of what beer could taste like. I expected a lip-puckering "bitter beer face" bitterness but what I got instead was a wash of pine and citrus. It pushed me to challenge my tastebuds and explore other beer styles. This beer is my first love.

Can poured a lightly hazed yellow hue w/ medium creamy lasting white head. Moderate bready and hoppy aromas. Initial flavor is light sweet w/ a moderate bitter finish. Taste comes across as a hopped pilsner. Light bodied. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Beautiful clear golden with a foamy white head. Prety lovely nose of sweet of pale ale malty biscuit and a sharp grassy fresh cascade hop. Smooth and mellow flavor thats balanced and hoppy and sweet malty. Theres a nice grassy and citrus pop on the start followed by a golden toast and pale ale malt body. Nice toffee and citrus sweetness with a blonde ale body. And a touch of peppery hops. Nicely nuanced pale.

Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is dark yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain, cereal), lightly to moderately hoppy (flowers, grapefruit), with light notes of diacetyl and celery, hint of fusel alcohol. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter, slightly unclean. Medium body, velvety/watery texture, lively carbonation. Rather clunky aroma...rough malt and some light off notes. Ample hop bouquet, but the other things bring it down. Decent balance, but not especially clean. Mediocre at best.

Bottle. Clear honey gold with a fine white head. Hoppy nose is pine lumber, herbs, gummi bears / tropical gum; Malt is lightly toasty and toffee-like; game-y butterscotch notes suggest diacetyl. Medium body, sweet, syrupy and glycerin-like on the tongue; moderately bitter, medium-low acid, buttery and off.
