Bottle @ the medicinal shop. Pours a golden orange appearance with a frothy, cream colored head. Slightly piney, sprucey, herbal, moderate citrusy aroma. Slightly twangy, orange citrusy, herbal, soapy flavor. Not as good as some of their other offerings. Would like to re-rate on tap.

Bottle, shared with Parksy and Grippitis. Medium clear golden, white head that leaves delicate lace. Aroma is light citrus and biscuity malt. Sessionable palate of slightly sweet biscuity malts and perfumey citrus hops, in nice balance. Just a nice sit-&-chill beer.

Beautiful clear golden with a foamy white head. Prety lovely nose of sweet of pale ale malty biscuit and a sharp grassy fresh cascade hop. Smooth and mellow flavor thats balanced and hoppy and sweet malty. There’s a nice grassy and citrus pop on the start followed by a golden toast and pale ale malt body. Nice toffee and citrus sweetness with a blonde ale body. And a touch of peppery hops. Nicely nuanced pale.

Tap at Fremont. Pours a clear, bright golden with webby lacing. Nose has the brewery’s characteristic weedy skunk note universal in their hoppy stuff along with some raw brewhouse/sweet wort boil. It doesn’t bother me- makes it feel rustic. But for others this may be seen as flawed. Taste is full biscuit balance, beautiful malt showcase as always with this brewer. Thick mango, marmalade, grilled papaya, huge sourdough biscuit. Balancing, beautiful. Shows a lot of brewer aptitude.

Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Light grapefruit aroma. Dark malt and grapefruit flavor. Medium bodied. Light dark malts linger with grapefruit.

12 ounce can. Pours a clear orange with a small white head. A light toasted fruity nose. A big fruity sweet orange flavor, some herbal tea, light perfume. Toast. A pretty sweet. Quite nice, smooth sweet flavors.

Bottle. Clear honey gold with a fine white head. Hoppy nose is pine lumber, herbs, gummi bears / tropical gum; Malt is lightly toasty and toffee-like; game-y butterscotch notes suggest diacetyl. Medium body, sweet, syrupy and glycerin-like on the tongue; moderately bitter, medium-low acid, buttery and off.

Bottle -thanks Artem! Pours clear amber with a large creamy off white head that dissipates with great lacing. Aroma is pine, spruce, citrus, mango. Flavors the same, very light sweet, light bitter. Bitter in the finish, a touch metallic. Light body, bit watery.

3/28/13. Sampled during CBC 2013. Orange pour with a small khaki head. Nice aroma on this for just a pale ale. Floral, piney, and plenty of citrus on top of a solid malt balance. Slightly more lackluster flavor, less hop presence, more malts coming through. Tasty.

12 ounce can thanks to 5000. Pours a nice orange golden color. Malty and slightly hoppy with some citrus. Very sessionable.
