Pours a clear golden yellow on tap with bubbly white head that leaves light lace. Aroma is nice crisp malt and kolsch yeast. Taste follows, super clean and easy. Enjoyable, bubbly carbonation, nothing special but solid for the style. woodychevy (874) - - MAY 28, 2014
On tap at Native Kitchen. Probably a good example of the style, but that, in essence is the problem. I could say it’s crisp and light and refreshing and a passable summer beer, but really it’s pretty boring. Taste is grainy and somewhat minerally. Has some wine characteristics. Not much in the way of hops or finish but fairly drinkable overall. Good crossover beer.

Draft at RBWG. Pours a clear yellow/pale golden color with a small white head. The aroma and flavor have bready, cereal and crackery malts, mild sweetness, grass, mild bitterness, clean but not very much going on with this. rondphoto (4448) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - FEB 25, 2014
@ Whole Foods Market / Asheville NC --- Clear golden amber with a 1" head that doesn’t give up, splotches of lace. Taste is malt with pencil shavings, honey, and dark earth. Light bittering enters in the finish. I’m not certain it is fresh, as these flavors don’t match my experience with the kolsch style. I expected better. Can. Kolsch is such a boring beer and this is no exception. Clean and boring.

Taster at the brewery- thanks! Pours a pale, clear gold with a small, wispy white head. Aroma of grass, grains, and crackery malts. Flavor of grass, grains, crackery and cereal malts, leaves, and minerals. Light-bodied, with medium carbonation and a crisp, dry, malty mouthfeel. Not a bad kolsch. A great drinking beer. Plain and simple, great drinking beer. No one gives much love to a simple beer like this, but they are the hardest to brew. The more subtle hint of diacetyl will come out, and almost never do i detect it. Well done, but one of my favorite breweries. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 17, 2014
Taster on tap at Barley’s during RBWG 2014. Completely clear yellow color. Thin white head. A dot or two of lace. Good smooth texture. Lighter carbonation, more dry finish. Light to medium body. Nice crisp bready biscuity malt. Light bit of pepperiness. Good bigger bitter taste. Nice light sweetness. Good longer kolschy aftertaste. Nice, easy drinking, but flavorful kolsch. Bomber from the brewery. A clear golden pour that sports a soapy white head. A nice looking Kolsch. This was very golden with a white head. It is definitely malt heavy and hops were a little scarce. They were there but on the lite site. I would have liked a little more hops but it was a nice Kolsch. Leighton (21296) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 17, 2014
Draft at the brewery taproom during RBWG 2014 - Asheville. Pours clear yellow with a creamy, white head. Mildly effervescent. Good cereal character, white bread, mild dough. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish, pretty clean, with doughy white bread, more cereal, minimal bitterness. Tasty. Nobody showing much love for this kolsch. But I like it.
