Unappealing skunky Euro hop aroma
Much better flavor but there’s certainly some similarity to the aroma.
Light but not watery body with medium+ carbonation. Dogbrick (13144) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAR 13, 2017
This beer pours a clear pale golden color with a medium white head that dissipates gradually to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of herbal hops, fruit and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of grassy hops, bready malt and a bit of fruit. The finish is mildly bitter with a grassy hop aftertaste. Decent overall. cheap (5911) - Beaver Valley, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 11, 2016
Bot. Somewhat soapy aroma. Lighter pale slight haze. Large rocky head that does not fade. Initially good co2. Taste is quite hoppy and bitter for what I believe to be a kolsch. Yes, almost astringent on the tongue. perhaps there is a tad of sweetness but that astringent impact is so prevalent. Same with the finish. A little difficult to enjoy. Draft sample. The beer is a clear gold with a white head of foam. The aroma has a doughy quality with some dry, floral notes. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Well balanced. Medium body and medium carbonation.

I’m generally not a big Kolsch, but this was a pleasant surprise. Not overly bitey like some Kolsch can be spilledpint (352) - Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA - JUL 30, 2015

Pours crystal-clear golden yellow with a small white head. Up front is malty honey flavor with light grassiness. Moderately sweet body with a reasonably bittered finish. Medium, slightly sticky body.
Solid beer, maybe a bit sweet to session too many of these. Aggiebob (1175) - Huntsville, Alabama, USA - JUL 5, 2015
Can. Clear golden color with thin white head. Aroma of grain and malt with the same taste. Easy drinking. DedicatedToFun (4000) - Santa Monica, California, USA - JUN 7, 2015
Tap, gold pour, white head, nose and taste are mild, some hops, some citrus ads135 (4727) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - APR 24, 2015
Light and lemony, but not as light as I’d like. Grassy hop finish, a bit of a stale hop character. Picked up in Asheville in 2015.
